WhatUp Wednesday #79

Hi friends! What’s up?? Happy Wednesday! Well, we are still in quarantine and I can’t wait to see when this will finally be over- if ever! I don’t want to go out in the public and risk getting sick with all these people but at the same time I can’t be sitting around waiting and waiting. I don’t know if that makes sense? 

Life goes on whether we are actively involved or not. A great example of this is where we took these pictures on Sunday! I love Holland and going to see the tulips- it’s usually Tulip Time right now! But anyways, Windmill Island is closed but we were able to walk around and see the flowers and buildings while everything was closed. 

I could not wait to wear this fun orange dress and big hat! I had this outfit planned out but wasn’t sure of what location. Sunday we were out driving around and I thought about heading over to see if we could walk around for a bit. I was so glad that it was open for us! I was surprised at how many people were actually there and walking around. We maintained our distance and enjoyed a few minutes of fresh air and sunshine taking these pictures.

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
