Round Top Restaurants: The Garden Company

It’s time for another restaurant recap from Round Top! We visited The Garden Company for brunch and it was fantastic! 

I love when I visit a restaurant and am told that they’re sending out their favorites for me to try! That’s what happened when we visited The Garden Company and I was not disappointed! Let’s take a look at the restaurant and what we ate and drank! 












We started with their Famous Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were so delicious! I can see why they’re famous! Then we tried the Mini Korean Street Tacos. I’d go back just for these two! 





Next up is the main course! We had the Chicken and Waffles and the Chicken Fried Steak! Sooo good! 







Let’s talk about the mixed drinks though! They were so delicious! You’ll need to check out the menu for more specifics on all of these but you’re sure to love whatever you try!

Lavender & Thyme Lemonade
Raspberry Gin Fizz 
Round Top Paloma
Life on the Farm (my personal favorite!)









As if all of this food wasn’t enough, they brought out a delicious dessert of Pecan Pie Bread Pudding and a cup of delicious coffee.

Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter!
