Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order. They even called me once to make sure that my measurements were correct so they made sure to make the dress correctly!  This  dress  has gorgeous nude tulle with a black lace overlay. WhatUp Wednesday #30

Hi friends! It’s that time again! This last week I worked a lot and there’s really not a ton to recap but I will show you a couple of outfits from this past week and tell you about what I’ve been up to!  But first, how about this little number from Fashionnova Curve? I’m not a shorts person which is why I chose this- I need to go outside of my comfort zone sometimes too. Styling people, we always tell them to think outside of the box or try something different or new so why not do that myself?  I love the pearls on this- it dresses it up a bit and made me want to pair heels with it but I’d also do a nice black sandal with it. The clutch is just a nice touch to accessorize the outfit. I’m also wearing silver jewelry as I often do with black. What do you all think of this romper? Love it or anything else, make a purchase and use code ONTHERUN for a discount off your purchase!  Saturday I went again to Zumba in the park at Klyde Warren Park. Well, we tried to go but

WhatUp Wednesday #29

Hey friends! Happy Wednesday!! Lots of stuff to talk about this week! It’s been nice working part time as I am able to spend some time doing other things that are fun like photos and the blog and hanging out with friends and all of the non fun stuff too like paying bills and working on my resume and applying for jobs. I love that I have the ability to take some time for myself and also work on things or do things I haven’t had time to do! Lularoe introduced yet another style of dress and it’s called the Debbie. If you know Lularoe, then you know it’s the long sleeve version of the Julia. I love this dress so much! Here’s the one I had on today- I love that you can dress it up or down- I dressed it up with a bright yellow heel but this one would also look really cute with boots or booties too. What do you all think of it? Enough about that- let’s get into why you’re really here and that’s to see what I’ve been up to lately! This past week was actually pretty fun! I’m going to
