Curvy Girl on the Run

Happy Sunday! It’s a rainy one here! I’ve been inside all day relaxing and napping and binge watching shows. Throw in cooking a couple of meals and let’s call it a productive day for me!  I went to  Windmill Island Gardens  in Holland last week to walk around and take a few photos. I had the perfect look in mind!  I saw this  Eloquii   romper  and immediately decided I needed to order it. I love all things rainbow and I love that  Eloquii  has sales and makes the items (even the new ones!) more affordable! I love showing you all new looks and this is such a fun one!  This  Eloquii   romper  has an attached dress to it! I love that it has the ease of shorts but has the back like a dress. Hi friends! It’s that time again! This last week I worked a lot and there’s really not a ton to recap but I will show you a couple of outfits from this past week and tell you about what I’ve been up to!  But first, how about this little number from Fashionnova Curve? I’m not a shorts person which is why I chose this- I need to go outside of my comfort zone sometimes too. Styling people, we always tell them to think outside of the box or try something different or new so why not do that myself?  I love the pearls on this- it dresses it up a bit and made me want to pair heels with it but I’d also do a nice black sandal with it. The clutch is just a nice touch to accessorize the outfit. I’m also wearing silver jewelry as I often do with black. What do you all think of this romper? Not to sound like a spoiled little child, but I wear what I want. It never used to be that way. Not even a little bit. Most of you who know me know I grew up in a very strict home and only was allowed to wear dresses and skirts. And let’s not forget those horrible culottes. Or better yet, please let’s forget them!  Anyways, fast forward to nowadays. I’m so tired of people saying you can’t wear this or you can’t wear that. One of the biggest myths is that bigger women cannot wear horizontal stripes. Why not? I look at it like this. If I’m bigger, I’m still going to be bigger wearing stripes. Nothing will change. My body is still my body.  It took me a long time to get rid of the nastiness in my head. The voice telling me I was too fat. The voice telling me you can’t wear that.
