Sunday Style: White

Image
You can wear white after Labor Day. Forget all of those ancient rules that you learned from your mom and grandma. I happen to think white is a beautiful color (or non-color which ever way you want to view it). White can be a color that symbolizes many things. Purity, safety, cleanliness. It's also considered to be the color of perfection. For me, it also represents a new beginning or wiping the slate clean.  White can be worn in its purest form or can be worn in various other shades like off white or cream. I'm not always a big fan of white but these white jeans from Royalty for Me  are so practical and can be worn in so many different ways.  Don't feel that you can only wear white jeans in the summer either! I'm wearing them in the dead of winter and I like it! The first look is with a long sleeve shirt, blanket scarf and boots. I then added a sweater and a clutch for more layering. I'm loving the results! What do you think?  ...

Hard to believe that Sunday will be February already! This month has brought colder temps, cloudy and sunny days and even snow. November 2014 Week Four Recap

Well it happened. Another month gone. This past week we celebrated Thanksgiving with both mine and my husband's families. We celebrated the end of one season and the beginning of another one.  Here are my looks from this past week: Monday- It was a casual day for me. You know what's funny? I wore a similar outfit with this same plaid shirt on Monday of this week too. I think it's simple and easy to throw together as well as super comfy.  Vest- Lands End (last year) Shirt- Old Navy (last year) Jeans- Eloquii (summer this year) Boots- DSW (old) Tuesday- I decided to wear a combo that I had been thinking about for a while. There's nothing better than pink and red and glitter and leopard on a Tuesday!  Sweater- Banana Republic (last year) Skirt- Ann Taylor (last year) Shoes- DSW (recent) Clutch- Forever 21 (last year) Wednesday- Another look with this blanket scarf! I love this midi skirt and thought it was warm enough to wear...

Sunday Style: Little Black Wrap Dress (Four Ways!)

Image
I am pretty sure that most women own a little black dress. A black dress is so easy to dress up or dress down and I thought I would give you all some ideas today. I'm upping the ante and showing outfits with a wrap dress because they are fun and so figure-flattering! I found this wrap dress on the clearance rack at Old Navy probably a year or two ago. The tag said $6.99 on it so I either paid that or probably even less knowing me!  The first look is a great look for a date night or night out. The dress itself is a blank canvas so I dressed it up with a beautiful statement necklace, polka dot tights and high heels with bows for Kohls. These shoes were a steal compared to their look alikes from a Kate Spade. I'm also carrying a bright orange clutch for a pop of color! I found this clutch at Goodwill!  The second look is also still a bit more dressed up and how I would wear it to work. I have pearls on and a bright green bracelet. The bright green bracelet satis...
