Curvy Girl on the Run

Happy Sunday! It’s a rainy one here! I’ve been inside all day relaxing and napping and binge watching shows. Throw in cooking a couple of meals and let’s call it a productive day for me!  I went to  Windmill Island Gardens  in Holland last week to walk around and take a few photos. I had the perfect look in mind!  I saw this  Eloquii   romper  and immediately decided I needed to order it. I love all things rainbow and I love that  Eloquii  has sales and makes the items (even the new ones!) more affordable! I love showing you all new looks and this is such a fun one!  This  Eloquii   romper  has an attached dress to it! I love that it has the ease of shorts but has the back like a dress. I love the black and white floral of it but then the added rainbow at the bottom is the finishing touch!  You might notice I’m not wearing any shoes in these pictures. Well, since last week’s post, I have come and gone to Michigan. I enjoyed the cooler temps, seeing friends and family, eating food that I have missed, etc. I have only been gone for a little over six months so not really long enough to forget everything and a short enough time to go right back to the way it was before I left. Does that even make sense? It does to me… First things first, here's my outfit for today. Yes, I am wearing these pants again but I love them! A conundrum is defined as a confusing and difficult problem or question. I just finished Making A Murderer on Netflix. I started watching it and I couldn't stop. It was only ten episodes but every episode was equally as thrilling as the one before. I would say this definitely falls within the definition of a conundrum. I won't give everything away in case if you want to see it, but I will tell you about the premise of the documentary. Oh, and I promise this is still a fashion post... Steven Avery was convicted of a crime that he did not commit. He spent eighteen years in jail until he was finally proven innocent and set free in 2003. He then was arrested for another crime that to this day, he says he did not commit. However this time, he is still sitting in jail trying to prove his own innocence. Even sadder perhaps is his nephew who is also sitting in jail after being arrested at the age of 16 for supposedly assisting his uncle in committing this brutal murder. ...

Well, the unofficial End of Summer is upon us. I think a lot of us have mixed feelings. For me, I know I was happy to see my son go back to school today because he was excited to see everyone and see who was in his class. He grew a lot over the summer, physically and mentally, and I think he is excited to see what this year has in store for him. It helps that he was excited to go too and not dreading it like some kids! There is also some sadness that summer is over. I am not sitting here boo-hooing or anything like that, but given the horrible cold and snowy winter that we had, I am just not ready for the sunshine and warm temps to end! This last week was our last summer camping trip of the year. We have a couple of great families that we enjoying camping with and this last week was no exception.
