Today's Joyful June Style challenge is polka dots. Polka dots are something that I don't wear very often. I don't know why because they are really fun and can be cute. I just don't have a lot of polka dot items for some reason. I found this dress at New York and Company a while back. It's part of the Eva Mendes collection from the spring. I love her dresses in her collection and I have said it before that I would buy every one of them if I could! This particular style of dress is the same as my black dress that I have been able to wear a few different ways. I am already thinking that I will wear this as a skirt another time too and possibly as a jumper. This style is very flattering on all body types. It has more of a fit and flare look while being a little straighter on the bottom. I love the way it nips in the waist. It is sleeveless but looks great with a jacket or cardigan over it. Today's Marvelous May Style challenge was a simple one of May Florals. I thought this jacket would be perfect for the challenge as well as for the weather we have been having. It's still only in the 50's today so a jacket was a good idea, as far as I am concerned. I also usually wear a dress to church on Sundays but today I just didn't feel like it. I love that we go to a church that accepts you as you are and doesn't demand a certain attire in order for you to attend.  I'm wearing this bright floral jacket over one of my favorite peplum tops and I just paired it with jeans today. I don't know about you all but sometimes I just want to be comfortable and wear a pair of jeans! I'm also wearing a pair of studded flats that I bought last year but I have never worn! Here we are in the middle of April already! Another month is passing by so quickly! I was happy to get into April since I knew it would start to warm up and I could start wearing something other than jeans and boots and sweaters. (While I write this, I must tell you that last night we got 3 inches of snow here in MI!). Here are the first ten days of the challenge in a recap. Happy Thursday! We are one day closer to the weekend! Today's post is about something that is thrifted(obviously, look at the title)...but seriously, I couldn't wait anymore to wear this dress and share it with all of you!  I went to Goodwill a few weeks back and found this dress and purse. I fell in love with the print of the dress as well as the cut and fit. It was like it was made for me and was sitting there waiting for me to come in and get it!  I also found this purse that I seriously cannot get enough of. I think it is totes adorbs (totally adorable) and sort of reminds me of a purse I had as a child. Of course that one was pink and had my monogram on it but similar style none the less.  I love a good jean jacket this time of year too as we are in a transition period here in Michigan. I am pretty sure that most women own a little black dress. A black dress is so easy to dress up or dress down and I thought I would give you all some ideas today. I'm upping the ante and showing outfits with a wrap dress because they are fun and so figure-flattering! I found this wrap dress on the clearance rack at Old Navy probably a year or two ago. The tag said $6.99 on it so I either paid that or probably even less knowing me!  The first look is a great look for a date night or night out. The dress itself is a blank canvas so I dressed it up with a beautiful statement necklace, polka dot tights and high heels with bows for Kohls. These shoes were a steal compared to their look alikes from a Kate Spade. I'm also carrying a bright orange clutch for a pop of color!
