Curvy Girl on the Run

Well today is April 1 and I'm writing about outfits from a couple of weeks ago! You might notice that I have posted a little less over the last couple of weeks. I've been working on a big project that's due tomorrow at work and, believe me, I will be excited to be done with it!  This week it was St Patrick's day and I wore green a lot. And stripes. Not sure why so many stripes but I did like all of the looks!  Monday, March 16- I wore this fun combo of two different stripes with navy pants. This week I did a Pinned It, Spinned It style challenge that was all about polka dots. I had a lot of fun shopping in my closet and I even brought out a couple of newer items that hadn't been worn yet. I loved this week's looks so much and even used two of them for my February Favorites!  Monday, Feb 23- No outfit post on this day- my son had his third snow day in a row due to the cold weather we were having. Tuesday, Feb 24- I wore some of my favorite things on this day. I love this polka dot dress that I got a couple of years ago from New York and Company and  winterized it by adding a mustard blazer and a faux fur stole. I added tights and boots to finish off the look. The weather has kind of been cooperating this year- not as cold or as much snow as last year. I've been enjoying the somewhat milder temps and it's also been great seeing the sun stay out for a little later in the day! Spring will be here before we know it!  I thought I'd recap the second week of January which also included a quick weekend trip to Raleigh- no coat required! I realize I am a little late in posting these looks this time. I hope you all will forgive me for not posting this sooner! I've been extremely busy at work the last couple of weeks and then I wrote this post and then somehow deleted the whole thing! Oh well- here goes the recap!  I don't know about you all but the weather here is getting colder. Outside pictures on some days are freezing and layers are starting to pile on! Fall is almost over it feels like and winter is beginning! While I am writing this, it is currently cloudy and 50 degrees outside!  I'm feeling a little nostalgic about the waning of warmer temps but I am loving all of the fall clothes!
