Sunday Style: Floral Frenzy

If you're a parent of a school age child like me, I'm sure you're in a frenzy. Getting ready for school to start and getting school supplies, clothing and haircuts- yes, I still am doing these and school starts in two weeks!

I've been busy with work this summer but it's been a good one. No need to be in a frenzy when I'm still enjoying the summer and all of its glory- including the fashions! 

Something super trendy this year is the off the shoulder blouse and dress. I am loving this floral dress so much! It's so bright and airy and the floral pattern is so good! It's a shorter style than I normally wear but I love the design and the high-low hem is very flattering. Think it's too short for you? It is actually a top but I sized up to wear as a dress!

I chose to wear my bright neon pink sandals and carry a black clutch. It's okay to stare! I think it is anyways....but you could wear a metallic sandal or change the look with black as well- the sky's the limit!

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
