WhatUp Wednesday #30

Hi friends! It’s that time again! This last week I worked a lot and there’s really not a ton to recap but I will show you a couple of outfits from this past week and tell you about what I’ve been up to!

But first, how about this little number from Fashionnova Curve? I’m not a shorts person which is why I chose this- I need to go outside of my comfort zone sometimes too. Styling people, we always tell them to think outside of the box or try something different or new so why not do that myself?

I love the pearls on this- it dresses it up a bit and made me want to pair heels with it but I’d also do a nice black sandal with it. The clutch is just a nice touch to accessorize the outfit. I’m also wearing silver jewelry as I often do with black. What do you all think of this romper? Love it or anything else, make a purchase and use code ONTHERUN for a discount off your purchase!

Saturday I went again to Zumba in the park at Klyde Warren Park. Well, we tried to go but it was freezing cold and we couldn’t find the instructor anywhere since the Festival of Joy was going on. Turns out Zumba was cancelled and we ended up at brunch again. Not that I’m complaining or anything... We went to Savor which is right on the park and eh, it was okay. I think I loved brunch so much last week at Lark on the Park that I was disappointed. The wait staff wasn’t super friendly, the mimosas were okay and the food was pretty decent. We all ended up getting the chicken fried steak that had a maple gravy and was served with eggs and potatoes. It was a bit salty for my taste but was pretty good. We also got a red velvet cinnamon roll and some deviled eggs to share which were really just okay. So I don’t think lll be back here anytime soon. The company was good and it was nice and warm inside so that’s all that mattered really.

Outside the Indian Festival of Joy was happening. There was a parade and all kinds of activities for all ages. We saw a lot of beautiful costumes and some singing and dancing. They had ginormous bubbles which was super fun too. It was nice to walk around for a few minutes but really I just wanted to get into my warm car and go home. That’s not too much to ask is it?

I’m still reading the same book from last week, The Heart Goes Last. It’s still good but I just haven’t had tons of time to read it. I hope this weekend I’ll have a bit more time. Netflix has been the same- I’m rewatching Cheers and my son and I will be watching Despicable Me 3 soon as well.

Here are the few outfits I posted on Instagram this week- it’s been a slow one but I did share a few pics!

Now I’m off to the movies tonight to see Ready Player One. I’ll be sure to let you all know what I thought about it next week! Have a wonderful rest of your week!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
