WhatUp Wednesday #34

Okay friends I know I’ve been slacking on the Wednesday posts! I get it! Life has been getting the best of me and I need to schedule this Wednesday blog post writing a little better!

So lots has been happening to me lately including starting a new job this past Monday. I’m thrilled to announce that my passion and vision to help women everywhere get dressed is now also a part of my work! I started with Dia&Co this past Monday as the Dallas Market Stylist Manager. This includes about 200 employees that are stylists and leads and managing everything here in Dallas. I am so excited to be working with this company as they have been partners of mine on my own style journey over the last few years.

Today I wore this lavender lace top with some distressed jeans- both pieces are from Dia. I love how it’s fancy but yet casual. This type of look is fun for me to mix and match my pieces!

I’ve tried a few new restaurants over the last couple of weeks and all have been amazing! I’ll show you below pictures of the items I ordered as well.

I tried Purple Tako here in The Colony. It is a mix of Asian fusion and a tiki bar type place. It has large yellow booths and a fun atmosphere and lots of classic and specialty drinks too. I had the Banana Hammock drink and the Huli Huli Chicken and both were delicious.

Next was with my team in Dallas on Monday. We went to a restaurant called 3Eleven and it was so good! Everyone loved the atmosphere and even the waiters wore cute hats. The food was perfection and we had a round of the Jacqueline drinks for the table.

And then last night was another work dinner. It was also in Dallas and was great as well!

Here are my looks from this past week. If you’re not following me on Instagram, why not? I’m @curvygirlontherun and I pretty much post an outfit post every day. I love inspiring others and I hope you can get some styling ideas from me! A special call out to this first outfit because both pieces are just plain amazing. I wore this shirt to announce my fun employment was beginning as my “funemployment” was ending. And this skirt ! Everyone needs something like this in your life! This one is from SheIn and make sure to use my code “curvygirl20” or a discount!

Isn’t it cute? Here are some more looks:

I just love wearing hats- especially in the summer when it’s so hot!

I think that’s about it! I did get my hair done on a Sunday and it looks so much better! You know how you look in the mirror one day and you’re like, what happened? Yeah, that was me!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!

  2. How do you take your beautiful outfit photos? Tripod? Friend or spouse? I would love to get photos like these of myself but my husband doesn’t have a photographic eye.
