WhatUp Wednesday #62

Hi friends! I hope you all have been doing well! I’ve been busy busy busy doing the Instacart gig so thanks for not getting mad that I haven’t been writing as much! Let me know if you ever want to try it and I’ll be happy to give you my referral code!

In my down time at home or on the job occasionally, I’ve had some time to catch up on my shows! Hulu brought back The Handmaids Tale for another season and I finished episode 5 yesterday. Wow! That’s all I can say after I finshed the last episode! Are you watching it?? I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t say anything else! I might need to do another post on it!

I also watched a couple of movies on Netflix: Always Be My Maybe and Murder Mystery. Always was a fun rom com with a mostly Asian cast which was refreshing! I love seeing diversity in main character roles! It was about friends from childhood who grow into adults leading separate lives and then get back together. That’s all I will tell you! It’s worth the watch if you want something cute and fluffy and makes you feel good.

Murder Mystery has two of my favorite actors, Adam Sandler and Jennifer Anniston. The movie puts a cast of characters together on a boat where murder ensues. It’s also a fun movie but with a little more violence (Murder!) and it is a real life who dunnit mystery! It’s a good watch if you’re looking for something fun and mysterious with actors you’ve come to love.

Lastly, I finally finished the last season of Monk on Amazon Prime! Wow! I already miss watching this show! It was a fun show to watch with  the main character who has more issues than Vogue and the nurse and then later the assistant. Every episode is a new case for the famous detective to solve! Monk’s quirks will have you feeling a little better about yourself if you’re like me and feel like you have issues as well! I find myself saying “Here’s what happened” more now too! The two part ending was the perfect way to say goodbye to the series- one of the best I’ve seen!

I’d say you’re safe watching any of my pics this week! The Handmaids Tale is rated M as the subject matter is more mature. Any of the others would be fun to watch with the family!

Let’s get into my featured look for today, shall we?? It’s no secret that I love a good jumpsuit and this one from Pink Clove does not disappoint! I also love that it’s sleeveless and such lightweight fabric makes it perfect for our warm temps! And can we talk about the Palm leaf motif?? I die it’s so good! I matched my earrings to this jumpsuit as well! How fun! I bought the earrings a while back but you can shop the jumpsuit here  It’s UK sizing so make sure to view the conversion chart for your size if you don’t know it off hand.

I used a different filter today on these pics from the Color Story app. It’s from the Essentials pack and it’s called Pop. I think it brings a light to these otherwise gloomy pics that were taken on this cloudy gray day! What do you all think?

Here’s some other outfits you might have missed this past week! If you don’t follow me on Instagram, what are you even doing?

You can shop this Jessica London dress here.  It’s so comfy and perfect for running around in the hot weather. Sandals and earrings are old.

Swimsuit is from SheIn and you can shop it here. Make sure to use my coupon code “curvygirlQ2” which is good through June 30 for an extra 15% off everything!

This is a Lularoe Nicole dress that has been redesigned with pockets now! Sandals and hat are older.

TomboyX celebrates Pride everyday and like no other! I’m so glad I found this rainbow wall in Lewisville because it’s perfect for this! Shop the Pride collection here

This bikini is from Smart and Sexy and I love it! The retro vibe with the style and the cherries is so good! You can shop the top here and the bottoms here

Hello world’s comfiest dresses! Universal Standard has them all including this gorgeous teal one with the vee neck and caftan sleeves. I wore this with tennis shoes for a day of grocery shopping! You can shop this dress here. Shoes are older.

Maree Pour Toi never disappoints and this beautiful maxi skirt is no exception! I wore this out to dinner and received so many compliments! I just paired a simple black top and sandals with it and some tassel earrings and it’s a put together look! You can shop the skirt here. Sandals, earrings and top are older.

Lastly was a fun event that I did last Thursday called the DFW Blogger sale! It was a fun time with lots of vendors and bloggers and food and fun and picture taking! Ahhh! I sold some of my stuff from my closet as did several other gals but there were also vendors there with regular retail merchandise. It was powered by Effen Vodka so we had some wonderful drinks as well! Here are a few pics from the night- I was so busy I didn’t get many!

This jumpsuit is from Loft. I won’t recommend it because I bent over and it totally split! It’s cute but you’re risking the fabric being so light I guess.

I hope you all have had a wonderful week so far!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
