Sunday Style: February Chic Soul New Arrivals

Happy Sunday! It’s been rainy and overcast all weekend so I’ve been indoors catching up on all the tv shows and movies! It’s a great time to relax and just hang out- something I don’t do that often! 

This past month has been all shades of pink and red so why not finish out strong with these looks from Chic Soul as well? I’m one that wears these colors all year round though, how about you? 

This first look is a fun little dress that has a fun flounce to it! I love the elastic sleeves that balloon on the arms and the length of this dress is just perfect! I also think this would be cute with a pair of white tennis shoes and a denim jacket!

The next look is this gorgeous dress that I think can be worn to an event dressed up with heels or even with booties like I did hear. Add a denim jacket to make it more casual too! I love the maroon color of this dress as well as the pleating details!

The third look was perfect for the cooler weather we had last week. This coatigan is so soft and fuzzy and I love the heart details on the shirt! You can wear them together like I did if you like a little bit of print mixing or wear them separately.

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! It’s upstairs of one of Galveston’s finest restaurants  Sugar and Rye . Spoiler alert: I’ll be doing a giveaway with them over on Instagram too! Nothing better than a couple of nights away! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
