Style Me March: Days 21-31

The end of March has come and gone and so has this challenge! This has been such a fun month of dressing up and putting on outfits! I am so glad that Hilary Rushford decided to start a new challenge next month too! 

Day 21- Ladylike Lovely- I found this pretty dress at Goodwill last year and finally got the opportunity to wear it! I mean what is more ladylike and lovely than a pretty dress, pearls and bows? 


Day 22- A Noticeable Necklace- this pretty flower necklace was one of the first things that I ever bought from Groopdealz. I still like the way it looks with outfits and I always receive compliments on it! I'm also doing some major pattern mixing and I hope it's one of the last times I have to wear boots and a vest! 


Day 23- Coziness is Happiness- I'm still loving this beaded sweatshirt from Kohls. I love the comfy feel of the sweatshirt and I put a button down shirt and jeans with it for a breakfast out with the family. 


Day 24- A Little Bit Tomboy- I thought I would wear this plaid flannel with my tennis shoes for this day. I paired some pretty jewelry with it to avoid looking too tomboy! 


Day 25- Plaid and Polka Dots- I decided to wear this fun gold scarf and tie it into a big bow for today's challenge. I'm also wearing my herringbone vest with it and I'm all in neutrals too for Day26- Chic in Neutrals 


Day 27- Flowers in Bloom- I am wearing one of my favorite easy outfits from Loft last year. I love the tees from there and I'm wearing a pretty coral striped tee with a pretty flowered scarf and topped off with a navy cardigan and worn with jeans and fun flats from Kohls. 


 Day 28- Beauty in Blue- I love love love this blue dress from the Gap! This is such a fun addition to my closet and I see myself wearing this multiple ways. I wrote a blog post about this earlier in the week but I paired it with a jean jacket and flats with a bright necklace to wear to a baby shower. 


My nails even matched my dress so I'm using this picture for my Day 30 which was Jazzy Hands! 


Day 29- Never Paired Together- this is why I love these challenges because it makes you use your imagination and think outside the box. I also posted about this black and white outfit that I wore on Sunday. I love mixing patterns and I thought turned out to be a fun outfit! 
Day 31- Inspired by a Style Me March Betty- it is so hard for me to pick one person who inspires me because I am inspired by people on a daily basis- I decided to wear this outfit that included pieces that I have seen others wear as well as my yellow pants because I've gotta be me! 
So March is over and I am already looking at the Style Me April challenge that came out! I'm ready to start wearing more brights, florals, skirts, and dresses this month! It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
