Sunday Style: Fair Isle and Tomato Red

I am wearing some of my favorite things in today's post: a sweater with a fun design, tomato red pants and shoes with sparkle. Let's not forget a great tote! 

I didn't want to wear too much jewelry or accessories today because I wanted to let my outfit speak for itself. It's saying "I'm fun and casual with minimal effort". This is the perfect outfit for a Sunday morning to wear to church and lunch afterwards. I'm enjoying my three day weekend and will be heading out for a massage later this afternoon too.

    The colors, the fit, the style.....it looks so nice on you, Sandae! I agree with your decision to not have the bling. It certainly is enough, and looks so cute!

    I love that you chose to forgo jewelry with this look - it would've overwhelmed that lovely fair isle sweater! Plus, I think your blingy heels are almost jewelry-esque. :) Beautiful Sandae!

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! It’s upstairs of one of Galveston’s finest restaurants  Sugar and Rye . Spoiler alert: I’ll be doing a giveaway with them over on Instagram too! Nothing better than a couple of nights away! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
