Purple Vines: One Dress, Two Ways

These karinadresses are my favorite! I wear them and write about them all the time. But I decided that I should show you a couple of different ways to wear them so you can get more for your investment. They are great lightweight dresses that I especially love to pack when I travel because they don't wrinkle and they pack so well! 

So here's the deal- remember on Sunday I said I wasn't ready for fall? Well I still am not ready but I thought I could wear this dress into the new season as well as wearing it now! This is the Trudy called Purple Vines and I am loving the sweetheart neck and swingy skirt! I love that this dress shows off my waist and makes me feel so good! 

For now, it's still in the eighties and it's still hot out during the day. The mornings and evenings are cooler but not cold. I wore this dress with some block heel sandals and carried a beautiful gold envelope clutch. 

For the second look, I decided to wear some booties and throw on a hat for more of a fall look. I am kind of liking this hat trend!

Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter!
