Sunday Style: Terrific in Teal

Spring is coming!  It's hard being in Texas and seeing the seasons change- mainly because it's been about the same since I got here in November. It's cold for a day or two and then the temps warm up. Yesterday it was 80 degrees!

Spring will be here soon and one of the great things is new prints from karinadresses. I've got the Carolyn on in the Teal Fans design. The shape of this dress is terrific for every body type and the colors are fantastic! You can easily dress this one up or down. 

I chose a nude heel and a floral clutch for some added fun. By the way, speaking of fun, the outtakes are hilarious as my heel kept getting caught in the boards of this bridge! Who says fashion can't be fun? And check out that amazing full moon in the first couple of pics! Beautiful!

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
