Red is described online as the color of fire and blood so it is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love. Red is a very emotionally intense color. It enhances human metabolism, increases respiration rate and raises blood pressure. Red is a very strong color. If you read the Bible, words in red are spoken by Jesus Christ. Red is also associated with the death of Jesus Christ and other martyrs in Biblical times. Red is used in modern day to show us who’s in the boss or who’s in charge. Why do you think so many powerful men like the President or CEOs of companies wear red ties? Why is it suggested to wear a red tie to an interview? It signifies that you are strong and powerful and will get the job done. Side note: just because you wear red does not mean you are necessarily powerful or will do a good job. So this past week I was able to try two new restaurants and I found a new show on Hulu to watch. Its been an exciting week of job applications and sitting alone in my area at work since a lot of people are either gone already or don’t come into work every day. It is so sad to see the parking lot so empty- even the parking garage still has spots if you come in late in the morning! Such is the saga that continues as the mortgage business winds down… Here is my outfit for today and the ones from this past week. I have been loving the 2017 Elegant Collection from Lularoe! We try to make it Everyday Elegant by pairing it with pieces we already have or pieces that are not too dressy. I love to show how versatile all of the items are!    I discovered The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu this past week and I am kind of addicted to watching it since I need to find out what happens to certain characters in the show. It’s Wednesday again so time to tell you all about what’s been happening! Today was another job fair at work. Yes, I am still displaced and yes, time is running out for me to find another job. Keep me in your thoughts or prayers or whatever you do that I will find the right job fit for me. February 5 th will be my official last day here at Capital One and then on to bigger and better things (I hope!). I have recently started applying to more positions since I figured it is after the new year and now things will hopefully be picking up in the job market realm. After the job fair, we went to a fantastic lunch buffet at Blue Mesa  , one of our favorite spots. The food was so good and we all ate our money's worth for sure! It is currently raining and thundering outside. A good day to stay home! I actually went out earlier though and did some browsing (check out my Instagram stories for more) and enjoyed a yummy pasta dinner. Bloggers including myself often do picture days or photo shoot days and photograph multiple looks at one time. This was the case with this look today. I have been wearing Lularoe for quite some time now. In fact, I was not that familiar with it and about four years ago, a Lularoe consultant asked me to collaborate with her and she sent me an Amelia dress. I think it's fun that Lularoe clothing items all have names and as a matter of fact, they are mostly named for people in the founder's family. How cool is that? Anyways, the Amelia dress really turned me on to Lularoe and it's safe to say that I am addicted! I love the clothing and I love how there are so many options to wear each clothing item that they sell! The Amelia dress is my favorite because it is so flattering to me-it cinches in my waist, shows off my curves and it has pockets!
