WhatUp Wednesday #55
Happy Spring! Today is the first day of spring and it couldn’t be any more beautiful here. I was at home doing some spring cleaning of my own as I’m getting a new bed tomorrow from Big Fig Mattress I can’t wait to try it out and show it off to you all! My son and I were out and about earlie today enjoying the weather outside. I remember the first day of spring in Michigan was still filled with snow half the time! I do hope the weather cooperates this weekend as some friends and I are planning to visit the tulip farm on Saturday.
I didn’t get out and do a ton this week. I really was having an off week to be honest. Sometimes things just get to me and I get down. I allow myself to get down for a minute but then I have to get right back up and get at it. It’s been fun thinking of new opportunities and ways to make money when you’re not in a corporate position any longer.
Anyways, enough about that. This past week I had the pleasure of attending brunch with my monthly crew, The Sunday Girlz. We went to Jose in Dallas and it was so good! We had a brunch menu with three options so naturally I went with the French Toast! It was sweet with cream and the fruit on it was amazing as well! We had bottomless mimosas and such good conversation and networking opportunities. I said this in my Instagram stories earlier this week that you have to network. That’s how we meet people and make plans and get options that we might not otherwise have. I don’t take for granted any of the time or money that I spend on networking.
I chose to wear this green sleeveless jumpsuit since it was St. Patrick’s day after all and the weather was amazing! I didn’t know that it was going to be outside so I’m glad I did decide to wear it! I even got sunburnt and it just made me even more ready for summer and the pool to be open.
Here’s some pics from the day:

I did have some other outfits this week. Did you read my Sunday post about working with Talbots? I had a fun time in the gardens taking pictures of this dress that benefits Dress For Success!
Let’s not forget these amazing high waist jeans from Universal Standard! I’m in love with them and the way they look and feel!
I’m still watching the Sopranos and now I’ve made it to Season 5! The story line just has me even though I’m not thrilled with the violence.
I also recommend Shrill on Hulu. I started watching it over the weekend but then got busy and didn’t watch any more. But you should. You all should. It’s really great and thought provoking and eye opening.
I hope you all have a great rest of the week!
Thanks for reading and following along with me!
