WhatUp Wednesday #72

Well this has been a week! Is it Friday yet? It was only Monday and my son and I both said we were already ready for the weekend! Some weeks are just like that!  We got our first snowfall accumulation on Monday and on the way to dropping my son off at school, I got rear ended. It wasn’t a big deal- it still isn’t a big deal. No one was hurt- a young girl didn’t stop in enough time and slid and hit me. The problem I had was when I called the police to file a report, her dad came at me and yelled and called names. Hmm no wonder she was crying, she was probably scared of what her dad would say. I was very kind to the girl and told her it was okay- you just never know what kind of damage you might have so it’s always best to have a police report. Stay safe out there friends! It’s been snowing a lot all across the country so be careful as you’re out and about!  Now on to more fun stuff like fashion! Let’s check out outfits from today and the past week or so! You can leave your hat ...

A Casual Fall With Ulla Popken

Image
This post is sponsored by  Ulla Popken   I’m back with more fall fashion! I say this as I’m sitting inside with temps of 20 degrees outside and snow! But just because it’s cold, it’s still technically fall!  I partnered with  Ulla Popken  again to show you a couple of fun fall outfits. I love the way you could totally mix and match pieces too! Both of these looks are casual but you could use some of the pieces to mix with other pieces in your closet to create some dressier looks as well!  Let’s take a look at the first fall look:  I’ve paired a fun  graphic tee  with a pair of  denim . On its own, this outfit is super casual and is perfect for hanging around in! Add the  zebra coat  and boots and a floppy hat and I’m just another basic blogger! Lol but really, it’s a fun coat and I cannot wait to wear it with more looks!  For an even more different look, my friend Liz from With Wonder and Whimsy and I both w...

WhatUp Wednesday #71

What’s up friends? Happy Wednesday! Last week was a doozy so I’m glad for a more low key week this week for sure!  Last week I told you all I would tell you more about the blogger brunch that I attended on Tuesday. I had an excellent time with Liz from  With Wonder and Whimsy  and Anne from  Curls and Contours ! We had time to eat a delicious brunch that Liz fixed and then have girl talk and then shop talk. We went downtown Northville and walked around and had a lavender latte. It was such a wonderful time!  I wore this beautiful  Eloquii   jumpsuit  that looks a little like pajamas but I’m not at all mad about it. It is seriously comfortable- I drove about 5 hours that day in the car and it was not even wrinkled! It’s silky on the outside and soft on the inside- and it buttons up the front which is great!  Here are some pictures from our day:  You can shop the jumpsuit  here   Here are some other outfits that you might ha...

Sunday Style: A Weekend Away with Christopher and Banks

Image
Sponsored post  What do you do when you get whisked off for a weekend in the fall? You have to pack light and don’t want to waste time carrying bags so you look for pieces that you can mix and match, right?  Today I’m showing off five pieces from  Christopher and Banks  that I used to make a few outfits for a weekend away to do some fall things in Michigan! I used two tops, two pairs of pants and a  coatigan  from  Christopher and Banks  to create these looks. I also used a few accessories and a pair of boots from my own closet.  First stop: You’ve got to have coffee, right?! Nothing I like better than a big cup of coffee to get my morning started.  Biggby Coffee  has some of the best coffee and coffee drinks. I wore a monochromatic look to grab a cup and sit outside and admire the nature. I paired this  knit tunic tee  with some  ponte leggings  for the perfect traveling outfit. I used a headband and necklace to...
