Sunday Style: A Weekend Away with Christopher and Banks

Sponsored post

What do you do when you get whisked off for a weekend in the fall? You have to pack light and don’t want to waste time carrying bags so you look for pieces that you can mix and match, right?

Today I’m showing off five pieces from Christopher and Banks that I used to make a few outfits for a weekend away to do some fall things in Michigan! I used two tops, two pairs of pants and a coatigan from Christopher and Banks to create these looks. I also used a few accessories and a pair of boots from my own closet.

First stop: You’ve got to have coffee, right?! Nothing I like better than a big cup of coffee to get my morning started. Biggby Coffee has some of the best coffee and coffee drinks. I wore a monochromatic look to grab a cup and sit outside and admire the nature. I paired this knit tunic tee with some ponte leggings for the perfect traveling outfit. I used a headband and necklace to add a little pizazz as well!

Next stop was to get some adult cider! We stopped by the Farmhaus Cider Co. first to check out what they had on tap. They have creative blends as well as traditional non alcoholic cider. They have food trucks scheduled regularly or you can bring your own food to sit outside under the twinkling lights. It’s set back in the woods and you feel like you’re lost but you’re right where you need to be at the same time.

I threw the coatigan over the tee and the pants and it’s a whole new look!

Next stop is to look at what flowers or vegetables that Dahlia Acres has to offer! During the summer months, there is a you-pick dahlia field as well as some of the prettiest sunflowers! There is always nice vegetables and flowers on a cart for you to buy and insert some money into a box on the cart- you know you’re out in the country when...

Next stop was a dog park and then some hiking on the trails at the park. I’m showing off two different looks- one with and one without the coatigan

I love the combo of the denim tunic and the brown pants! These pants have so much stretch and just feel amazing on the skin! The denim shirt can be worn tucked or untucked depending on the look you’d like to achieve. A denim shirt is such a great staple too to have in your closet as it can be worn with so many things! The coatigan over top is the icing on the cake!

The last look is the denim shirt tied up with the brown pants and a scarf tied at the neck for a fun look! My son said I look like someone on a plane when I wear a tied scarf! I just love how the colors in the scarf pull out the colors in the pants and shirt

The last pictures were taken at one of the Ottawa County Parks. I love this park in particular because it is so clean and nice! I frequently use it for pics and for walking and relaxing. The dog park is awesome with one side for small dogs and one side for big dogs. There’s even a dog wash and a basket of tennis balls to throw!

Well, what do you all think of my five piece wardrobe from Christopher and Banks for the fun activities of the weekend? This post was a lot of fun to write and we had fun doing all of the fun things!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
