Spring 2015 Trend: The White Shirt

Today's post is exciting because I am collaborating with three other ladies and talking about a fun Spring trend- the white shirt. I've teamed up with Janeane from Designing From My Closet, Amy from Full Figured and Fashionable and Nina from Curvy Mod.

The white shirt is basic but combined with other articles of clothing and accessories, it's anything but basic! I love the way that all of us took this one wardrobe staple and made it into a totally different look!

Janeane wore hers with some cropped pants and lace up sandals and a clutch. Her look is comfortable and casual yet easily a dressed up look for day or night.

Amy wore hers with a cardigan and skirt. This is another look that could be worn for work or play. I love the coral and the pop of green in the necklace!

Nina's look is super cute with the bow tie and the patterned pants. Her look is another great example of how a white shirt doesn't necessarily mean business- it's for fun too!

I decided to wear my white shirt with a skirt and heels for a daytime look. This Loft skirt is such a great color and I cannot wait to wear it more ways!  I dressed it up with green accents and a floral clutch for some visual interest but lengthened my legs by wearing nude heels. I love this Spring outfit!

Here are some more pics of today's look:

Shirt- New York and Company (old)
Skirt- Loft (recent)
Heels- Loft (last year)
Clutch- Francesca's (last year)
Necklace- Stella and Dot (old)
Bracelet- Target (old)

I hope you all gained some good ideas of how to wear your white shirts! This was a lot of fun collaborating with these ladies and make sure you go check out their blogs too!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!

  1. Love this! And as you know I just adore that Loft skirt. I just love how the clutch pulls all the colors you used together. I am so happy we were able to collaborate together on this and I had a blast doing it!

  2. I really love the way you styled your white button up, it's such a great spring look. The skirt is such a gorgeous color and I love how your paired it with the green accents because they complement the outfit so well. It was great being able to work with you on this!
