Pleather Perfection

Okay okay- first of all, pleather? Really? Well, I am not about to go out and pay good money for some leather pants. Pleather is perfectly fine with me. Seriously. Secondly, you will never guess where I bought these pleather pants! (Read through to the end and I might tell you there...)

 I thought this was a great outfit for going out to dinner with the family on Christmas Eve. We had a table for seven and the best food and conversation that I've had in a while. (Friends-don't get mad about it, I love you all too...).

 I am thinking of some additional ways to wear these pants but for this night, I went basic with a gray turtleneck sweater, black patent heels and a leopard clutch. This was one of the easiest outfits to put together-seriously took no time at all and I felt like a million bucks.

So, what do you all think? Surprise, surprise but these are actually coated jeggings from WalMart! Eek! If you know me, you know I am typically a Target shopper, but these were just too good to pass up! 

 Have any of you ever found a hidden gem like this at a place where you normally don't shop?

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
