WhatUp Wednesday #50

I can’t believe this is the 50th WhatUp Wednesday post! I’ve been doing these on and off for the last year and a half or so and these are some of my favorite posts to write! I love catching you all up on fashion and food and fun that I’ve experienced over the past week! I may skip weeks here and there but it’s all about quality over quantity. I want to have great content to give to you all versus just writing to write! 

Now this last week was really busy working with all of the new Lularoe Happy Hearts collection! We unpacked and hung and sorted and shipped and everything and boy am I beat! I don’t have a ton to write about since I spent so much time working but I did want to show you at least the fashion from this last week and the spotlight for today’s post. 

Speaking of spotlight, here she is! This gorgeous green jumpsuit from Ashley Stewart is simply amazing! I felt myself wearing this! I am telling you, this one is a game changer. The fabric is amazing- it’s soft and not too too clingy but clingy enough to see every curve. And it’s functional- the fit is on point and the color is my favorite, green! This jumpsuit is also on sale right now for less than $25! I paired it with this leopard coat from Target that I got last year on clearance and I some nude heels that are old from Payless. Fashion isn’t about spending tons of money! I wear a lot of different brands and really try to show you all how to mix and match old and new, expensive and budget-friendly as well as classic and trendy. Where do you all think this falls on that spectrum? Well take a look for yourselves and tell me what you think! 













Isn’t she a beaut, Clark? I like to say that year-round - it’s from the movie Christmas Vacation and that movie just makes me laugh so much! 

Now, I finally finished all eleven seasons of Frasier on Netflix! I love that show but it is so long! I have been able to watch it while I’ve worked some and while I get ready and while I blog, etc. but I’m finally done with it! I’m looking forward to starting another series I think! Any recommendations for me? I’ve got tons of stuff on my watch list so I’ll probably start there!

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! Less Bitter, More Glitter

The saying goes "Spread Kindness around like Glitter" -okay it is really "Spread Kindness around like Confetti", but why not glitter instead? Glitter can be messy, it can be hard to clean up and can be fun and colorful. Just like our lives. Just a friendly reminder that this time of year can especially be a hard time for people. Holidays are a time when a lot of people see their friends and family but sometimes people don’t have anyone. Or maybe there are some people who don’t have much money to get gifts. Or some are remembering those that are no longer with us here on earth. Regardless of how you do or do not celebrate, remember to throw kindness around freely! Less bitterm more glitter! It’s a great time to spread cheer but so is all year!   Show a smile to a stranger or pay for someone’s drink behind you in line. Write someone a note to tell them how much you appreciate them.
