Sunday Style: Spring into Spring with Lane Bryant

Hi friends! This month I will be doing a series called Spring into Spring featuring a different retailer each week. I’m excited to be partnering up with Lane Bryant this week to show you a few of their new arrivals and showing you how to style a pinstripe blazer a few different ways! 

I’m normally a dress girl, but sometimes I do like a good suit and a good pair of denim. I love accessories and I love to share how to style so let’s get into it! 

This first look from Lane Bryant is a full pinstripe suit look. This is a linen wrap blazer and a pair of wide leg linen pants. I paired a simple white tee with the look and a pair of tennis shoes. I love this look for someone who is out and about and needs to be comfy! I think this is a great look for a professional who can throw on some heels or for someone else who is going to a museum or day outing of some sort. I also love these fun tassel earrings that match so well!

The second look is the same tee and jacket but I added a pair of denim. I love these denim so much- they fit comfortably and are so fashionable! I added a pair of leopard shoes for a pop of print and check out this gorgeous statement necklace!

The third look is this beautiful coral top with white  crop pants and the jacket. I love the pop of color with this look! I am also wearing the statement necklace with this look as well. I think it matches so well and adds a beautiful element to the look.

What I love about all of these looks is you can mix and match! I really try to show you all pieces that you can wear several different ways and these items from Lane Bryant will not disappoint!

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! It’s upstairs of one of Galveston’s finest restaurants  Sugar and Rye . Spoiler alert: I’ll be doing a giveaway with them over on Instagram too! Nothing better than a couple of nights away! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order. They even called me once to make sure that my measurements were correct so they made sure to make the dress correctly!  This  dress  has gorgeous nude tulle with a black lace overlay.
