Travel Tuesday: Hico TX and Off the Vine RV Park
Hi friends! I’m starting a new series on the blog today called Travel Tuesday. I’ll be sharing all the new places that I visit and giving you all ins and outs in case you’d like to visit yourself! I’ll also be doing some Instagram only giveaways so I would recommend that you follow me on Instagram too if you don’t already!
Hico is a cute little town and we had lunch in this little diner, Koffee Kup. My review- the food is okay but the pie is great!
How about a wine tasting? The Silver Spur Vineyard and Winery is known for its dry wines and they are fantastic! Go in and do a wine tasting or order a bottle and a charcuterie board and stay awhile. The owners are nice and the people in there are all super talkative and friendly!
How about a fun little place for dinner? We were in the mood for pizza so we tried Giovanni’s for some of the best pizza I’ve had!
Thanks for reading and following along with me!
Let’s get right into it! Today’s location is Hico, TX! It’s a fun little Texas town that is small but mighty! We stayed at the Off the Vine RV Park that offers vintage RVs for the night or whatever the length of your vacation!
Off the Vine RV Park has lots of fun options to choose from! We stayed in the Poncho trailer which is so cozy and fun! There’s so many cute little amenities in each trailer that are specific to the trailer as well! Hop over to Instagram in my highlights you’ll see my full trailer tour too!
Off the Vine RV Park has RVs now but is also getting ready for glamping! There’s two tents on the site that are being set up and prepped and decorated and there’s new restrooms being built right by them as well! When it’s not so windy, you’ll love to sit by the bonfire and have some s’mores in the cute little common area even equipped with twinkle lights! (It was way too windy when we went for a bonfire, so enjoy when you go!)
The owner Luci is so sweet and took such good care of us! We enjoyed our stay and will be back again for sure!
Enjoy some of these pics from the park:

There are a lot of cute little boutiques that you can shop in as well as popcorn store, barbecue restaurant and even a store that offers porch pickup making great pastries and baked goods! So much to explore!

One of my other favorite places in Hico is the Hico Mercantile! So much to see and explore in this space! Different small vendors have space in this huge marketplace where you can find housewares, clothing, jewelry and so much more! . Here’s a few pics of the Mercantile:
Hico Mercantile has also started their own line of candles which are amazing!! I would highly recommend purchasing one or a dozen! My favorite is the Hico Blend and the Sugared Volcano which smells just like the Anthropologie one! Check out the candles here! Make sure you click on the link and use CURVYGIRL to save 20% off your order too!
I hope you had fun traveling to Hico with me!
Thanks for reading and following along with me!
