Fall In Love


On Friday we celebrated at the wedding of my brother in law and new sister in law. They chose a venue that was a historic location and had the ceremony outside in a garden and a beautiful indoor reception. 

My husband and I love going to weddings- I think I like going a lot too to see what everyone (including the bride) will be wearing. I love the decorations, colors and themes. I often imagine what I would do if our wedding were this year instead of thirteen years ago. 

While I didn't have any part in the wedding, I still wanted to dress up and look good. I decided on this beautiful dress from Loft that was purchased during a 50% off sale. I wore nude bow pumps and pearls with this dress and carried a leopard clutch for fun. I love this look! I think I will wear it again with a denim jacket and boots.

    Amazing wedding photographs! Perfect choice of accessories for the occasion. I too love attending weddings. I tried a trendy party hairstyle last week for my friend’s wedding. Hair care tips on popular blog sites helped me to get to rid of hair fall problems. Happy married life to the couple.

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! It’s upstairs of one of Galveston’s finest restaurants  Sugar and Rye . Spoiler alert: I’ll be doing a giveaway with them over on Instagram too! Nothing better than a couple of nights away! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
