Spring Fling with Suzanne Betro

I’ve had some requests recently for blog posts talking about what to wear and what to pack for going on vacation. I recently discovered an Australian designer named Suzanne Betro and thought I’d go on vacation with her pieces or at least pretend I’d go on vacation. I haven’t traveled much lately but I hope that changes soon! I love to travel and explore new places!

I picked out some pieces from the Spring collection that I thought would be perfect for traveling. Suzanne Betro is sold on Zulily and also has a Facebook page if you’d like to follow along to be notified for good deals! It just so happens that a few of the pieces I selected are being shown on there today so I’ll be sure to link those as well!

Here is a schedule of the sales that typically run on Zulily and on which day of the week:

Tuesday- Dresses collection
Wednesday- Signature collection
Thursday- Weekend collection

There is no Instagram page for them yet but they do have a Facebook page so you can give them a follow here

Let’s jump right in!

The first look is one I love so much! This is perfect for a day out exploring museums. I love the linen feel of this dress and I also love the variagated stripes! I added wedges, a bag and a hat as accessories for this dress. I love the way this dress tucks in at the waist and buttons up the front. It’s such a fun design!

Next up is a casual look. Maybe you’re off to shop in a downtown area and eat a casual lunch. Or maybe you’re riding bikes or scooters on a tour! This top is an incredible find from Suzanne Betro! It’s so cute and comfortable and I just paired it with some distressed jeans and sandals and fun earrings! Why not add a straw tote if you’re off to the farmers market or shopping?

You went back to your room and changed after a fun day out. Now you’re off to a nice dinner and want to dress up a little more. I’d suggest this wrap dress because it’s simply fabulous and can really be dressed up or down depending on your shoes and accessories. I’ve made it a little dressier with these red pumps but I also think this look is very work appropriate! You could also do a nice sandal and have the same dressier but a little more casual look. Bonus: this dress is so comfy it literally reminds me of wearing pajamas in both the look and feel of it!

It’s your last full day before you go home from your vacation tomorrow! You want to go to a botanical garden and shop for antiques in a cute downtown area. I’ve got you covered in this darling gingham dress  It’s lightweight and prefect for warm weather. It’s cute and swingy and just is a fun piece to wear all around! I paired it with my wedges and bag again but you could also do flat sandals and a cross body bag as well.

It’s your last night and you’re going on a date to a nice Italian restaurant by the water. You want to wear something nice but not be too dressed up. This top is so perfect paired with white denim! I paired it with some nicer sandals with a heel and some tassel earrings  as I feel it balances the whole look out. This top is soft and silky and I love the sleeves on it as well!

Well those are all the outfits for a quick weekend trip. What do you all think? In addition to these pieces, I would also recommend packing enough bras and underwear or the correct ones (strapless, etc. whatever is necessary)- always add a couple of extra pairs! Pack a light jacket or sweater if it gets cooler at night. Don’t pack too many pairs of shoes because this really weighs your luggage down! If you’re going for a weekend, try to do a carry on and limit the shoes you bring. Bring a swimsuit in case if you decide to go swimming at the beach or use the hotel pool or hot tub. The hotel will let you borrow their towels so don’t add them in your luggage. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

I would also bring a couple of tee shirts to wear with the jeans in case if you get stuck and need more clothes to wear. All of these pieces are very lightweight that I chose as well! I also roll my clothes and get tons more room this way!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post today! Please leave comments on what you liked or what you got on Zulily! I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to share this brand with you! As you can see, I love every piece I got from them!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
