WhatUp Wednesday #60
Hey friends! Before I get into today’s post, don’t forget I wrote another post yesterday about my big fig mattress! Make sure you check it out because if you’re thinking of getting a new one, this might be for you! And there’s a sale!!

Liv shirt and Jill skirt are from Lularoe
Okay enough about that! How have you all been? Today I decided to try something new that I haven’t done before. I’m really trying to get out there more, guys! Anyways, I went to cryotherapy and had a compression massage! I’ve heard of both but haven’t had either so this was a good thing for me to try.
I visited Cryo-X in Frisco that is inside of P5 and signed my waiver forms and we were off and running! I first went into this room and removed my shoes and sat in the chair for thirty minutes while the gigantic leg warmers were huffed and puffed with air. I also had a neck massager on which was a lot of pressure but I didn’t get bruised, so we’re ok lol.
I forget his name but the guy helping me checked in on me every few minutes to make sure I was doing ok. He was nice and brought me water and talked with me for a little bit. When it was over he asked me if I took a nap at all and I said no I didn’t relax that much. Here’s the thing, I didn’t know what to expect so I couldn’t fully relax. I’m sure if I do this again, I’ll feel better.
Once that was done, he led me in a room with gallons of gas and a chamber to get into. Okay this part freaked me out a little because I didn’t know what was going on. I had to put on socks and slippers and gloves so my hands and feet wouldn’t get frostbite. I was only in there for three minutes but it was so cold! I told him that I moved to TX from MI because I didn’t like the cold! We had a good laugh about that as I’m standing in negative degree temps!
So once it’s over, you should feel refreshed and recharged. I think I felt that way when I was done but the anticipation was a lot for me. I really have to know what I’m getting into. I even called ahead to see if I had to wear anything special or different. I definitely felt a difference in my legs which is awesome and the cryotherapy is also supposed to help with your metabolism. I would like to research this a little more because I feel like there are a lot of benefits to this! I didn’t get enough time to look all of them up between yesterday and today!
Overall, it was a great experience! The facility was clean and the staff was really nice. I enjoyed the time I spent there and I’m excited to see what the new location in Grapevine will look like once it’s finished! Cryo-X has two locations, one in Frisco and one in Grapevine. The Grapevine one is going to be moving across the street later this summer! Stay tuned because I’ll be attending a day of pampering at the new location when it opens!
Here are a few pics that I snapped- I mean, it’s hard to get pics when you’re trying to relax but I tried!
This last pic was before I got into the chamber. I was a little nervous but then I got undressed and put the stuff on and got in and was good to go!
All right so that was a fun experience and I encourage you all to try it! I’ll circle back and tell you all how I feel when I sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow! Thanks to Alicia and team for allowing me to visit and try their services!

I hope you all are off to a great start with your week! It’s a long holiday weekend so make sure to spend some time in the sun and having some fun!
