Sunday Style: The Grand Rapids Blues

Happy Sunday, friends! It’s hard to believe that today is already March 1st! I saw a meme that said something about how January had 585 days and February flew by so fast! That’s exactly how it feels for me since I really hate the cold weather! Today was actually in the 50’s though and the sun was shining bright. I’m so ready for spring!

One of the landmarks in Grand Rapids is the Blue Bridge. The Blue Bridge used to be a railroad bridge and is now used as a pedestrian bridge. It was built in 1892 and stretches over the Grand River. It is iconic to the city and also is one of the longest truss bridges in Michigan.

Now there’s nothing like wearing blue when you are by the Blue Bridge! I got this dress from My Sister’s Closet Boutique and I love it! It’s a small little blue floral pattern but if there’s anything you know about me, you know I also love a great animal print! I decided to add some depth to this look with the leopard belt and hat. I added booties with this dress because of the time of year. I would also add a denim jacket and tennis shoes for a different look or dress it up with some nude heels for an afternoon wedding or even Easter!

Here’s some pictures of this look:

I hope your weekend was as beautiful as mine!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
