A Texan in Paris

How to enjoy a little bit of Paris when you’re in Texas? Well fake it til you make it, right? A friend of mine and I decided to create our own little Parisian holiday over the weekend and we had so much fun!

We started out by visiting Edith’s French Bistro in Plano for High Tea. This was such a fun experience! Perfect if you like to be spoiled and waited on constantly! We had a dedicated waiter just for us the for the first hour and he was very kind and waited for us to take pics and talk and have fun while he was trying to do his job.

The tea we selected was so good- I loved mine and drank several cups. Then there was the tower of eats and omg everything was so delicious!

The room was beautiful and the ambience was just lovely. I will say I enjoyed it more when we were the only people in the room. After we had been there about an hour, another group came in and they were a bit obnoxious but we enjoyed it before that!

Enjoy these pics we took at Edith’s

Dress is from the LoveShackFancy collab with Target earlier this year and is sold out

After we had high tea, we jumped in the car and then headed out to Paris, Texas. I’ve always wanted to go there and see the Eiffel Tower there! I will say, there’s not much more there but I was happy to finally see it! It’s so fun with a cowboy hat atop it! Definitely a tourist trap but so fun to see!

Dress is from Eloquii and you can shop it here

We also had some fun driving around the downtown area and seeing some of the sights. Again, there’s not much to see but we did take a few other pictures in some other outfits!

We found this little shop that had a corner with this background and some cactus out front! It was perfect with this dress!

We also took some time to pose with the Dr. Pepper mural! Did you know Dr. Pepper is my favorite? I remember being a kid in Texas and it was my favorite then too! It just tastes better in Texas! It’s a fact!

I also liked this little corner with the awning - it was a fun backdrop for this jumpsuit as well!

This jumpsuit and the outfit below is all from Fashionnova Curve!

We found this movie theater that I thought would be a fun background for this casual look.

And I’m a big fan of the Golden Girls so this little gem was a fun find!

We stayed at the Hampton Inn there in Paris and we just had fun talking and catching up! We enjoyed lots of wine and a fun charcuterie plate!

Overall it was a fun little getaway! I’d recommend doing something like this if you’re in the mood for a little Parisian themed day!

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
