Texican Court: Irving TX

You guys! I’m so excited to bring you coverage of this beautiful boutique hotel in Irving, TX called Texican Court. Irving is close to Dallas so if you’re traveling to the city, you might want to consider staying here for the ambiance and character.

This hotel is nestled in the Las Colinas area which is famously known for its canals. Reminiscent of Italy, you can even ride a guided gondola through the canals as well. That’s for another time though- let’s focus on this cute hotel!

I was warmly greeted at the front desk and given the keys to my room which when I went up, discovered it was a gorgeous suite! I love all of the decor in the room but also all around the hotel. There are touches everywhere that give it charm. It feels like a little Mexican slice of heaven and the ambiance is meant to make you feel this way. From the outdoor courtyards to the beer garden to the restaurant and bar, it’s all put together perfectly!

The hotel is three stories high and all of the doors are a beautiful shade of pink- so you know I’m already loving it! There are rocking chairs outside of each room where I enjoyed my morning coffee. Each room has a Smeg refrigerator and mine was fully stocked with all of the mini bar essentials.

I might also mention in regards to location that this is right across the street from the convention center and right down the street from the Toyota Music Factory. It was relatively quiet when I visited and it didn’t feel like you were in a city at all!

Let’s get into the property tour, shall we? I could write about it all day but I know you really want to see pictures!

First up is the area where you check in and then the property itself including a beautiful little pool!

Isn’t this just the cutest little place? Already I’m obsessed with it! Now, let’s take a look at this gorgeous suite room!

Just gorgeous, right?! Everything is so detailed and perfect! I loved this tub so you get two pics of it! The shower has a bench that you can use- just the ultimate in relaxation when it comes to this room!

There is a bar and a restaurant on site. I did take a little tour of the bar, Salt Tequila Bar, and here’s a few pics for you- full disclosure: this was in the afternoon and some people were “working” sitting at the bar so I did crop them out. We don’t want anyone getting into trouble now, do we?

There is also a restaurant called Two Mules Cantina where we ate dinner and they serve breakfast here as well. Let’s take a look at the restaurant and at what we had for dinner first.

We started with the Diablo Margarita and the Prickly Pear Margarita- both were delicious!

We also ordered the Brisket Nachos as a starter. These were very good!

We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and the poblano chicken enchiladas. The quesadilla was a bit bland for me but the enchiladas were super spicy so I guess there’s a good mix!

Cheers to a good dinner!

Another fun thing about Texican Court is that they have s’mores kits available for purchase. They light the fires around sunset and you can enjoy tasty treats in the beer garden area or the courtyard. Delicious and fun!

I had a great night’s sleep in the comfortable bed so now time for breakfast and some coffee! I did go to the restaurant to see what the options were. There’s a limited restaurant menu which I ordered the omelet and potatoes or they also have pastries and coffee available to go. I had some breakfast and enjoyed a cup of coffee outside in the rocking chair too!

All in all, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend Texican Court for you to visit! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself is charming and the decor is on point.

I know it wouldn’t be me to not take a few pics at the hotel to use on social media so here are a few I took while I was there:

Thanks for reading and following along with me!
