Style Spotlight: Modesty Lane


I have said this before and I am sure that I will say it again that I love finding new brands and introducing them to all of you! I found Kelly at Modesty Lane through Instagram and fell in love with her fun prints and styles that she offers. In addition to being stylish, they are also very modest (hence the name Modesty Lane) and they offer a great selection for those who are looking for modest clothing!

Kelly sent me over two outfits to try and I love both of them! My favorite is probably the first dress just because I love the print and the style of the dress. The second outfit is also great though because I love leopard print anything!

What do you all think? I love the way this is black and white so I can accessorize many different ways!

 Again, leopard is a neutral so you can really play with what you wear with this outfit as well! I went simple with pointed toe booties but really you can wear it however you please! Also, this is a two-piece outfit so you can really mix and match with items in your wardrobe that you already own.

There are really so many different options in her shop for you to love! Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
