Sunday Style: Polka Dots and Bows, Oh My!

Today's post features this beautiful dress from Dainty Jewell's! I love this dress so much! From the secretary's bow in the front to the polka dots to the colors to the style of this dress, I love it all!


This dress is called the Vintage Belle dress. It is available in sizes XS- 3X and is also available in girls sizes if you want to match your little princess! It is fully lined and the material is soft and dreamy! This dress is such a classic and can be worn everywhere-from church to work to events!

I paired it with red bow heels and a clutch with matching pink and red embellishments. I think it adds a little festivity to this look. I would also wear it with riding boots to work and carry a tan bag. I think it is so versatile!

Travel Tuesday: Sugar’s Inn Galveston

It’s a special edition of Travel Tuesday on a Thursday!   Ya’ll  need to get on board with going to Galveston! If you’re in the DFW area and you want to get to the beach, you can head south a few hours and get to Galveston easily! This was my second time visiting but I have a feeling I’ll be going back a little more often! I don’t have a ton of recommendations for you yet based on one weekend but the more I go, the more I’ll have!  First things first, where to stay?! There’s a new cute little boutique hotel in town named  Sugar‘s Inn  and I’m obsessed with the cuteness! It’s upstairs of one of Galveston’s finest restaurants  Sugar and Rye . Spoiler alert: I’ll be doing a giveaway with them over on Instagram too! Nothing better than a couple of nights away! Sunday Style: JJ’s House

It’s been said in various ways that clothes don’t make the person, the person makes the clothes. I believe this to be exceptionally true in this beautiful dress that I am wearing in today’s post! This dress literally made me wish that I was heading out to the opera or a benefit dinner. I love that I get to wear and model a lot of clothes and some just feel more special than others. This dress was custom made for me so I got all the feels while I was zipping it up and looking in the mirror. It fits like a glove and I could not be more in love with it!  Let’s talk about  JJ’s House  for a minute. They have all sorts of dresses for special occasions, including bridal wear! I picked out a dress and did my measurements and sent them in with my order.
