Animal Antics with Chic Soul
Today’s post is all about animal prints! Some people are so afraid to wear these! I don’t know why but I do realize that it can take some getting used to. I know I remember when I first started wearing leopard print that I put on a leopard top and some black pants and felt I looked exactly like Peg Bundy on Married With Children. It definitely is a print that people will look at you when you wear it - not in a bad way, but in a great way!
I chose some items from Chic Soul for this post that either had animal print in them or I accessorized with some sort of animal print. And if animal print isn’t your thing, you could always choose different accessories or shoes!
I’ll be showing you five pieces that this time! I got a sweater, a sweater dress (that I’m wearing as a sweater, a pair of jeans and two dresses.
Let’s start with a dress, shall we? This is just a fun little dark salmon color dress. It’s full and flowy and watch it cuz the wind will blow it right up! I paired this dress this time with a fun brown pendant necklace and these killer boots! I will wear this to teach and pair it with flats and a different necklace or maybe even a duster or cardigan and create a whole different look!

The next look is this fun one with a taupe sweater and jeans! I paired a hat with leopard trim with it as the perfect animal accessory and black over the knee boots. I like this look because it’s fun and fresh with a bit of whimsy. It’s super comfy and casual yet looks so out together!

The next look is the same jeans paired with the sweater dress. I like this more as a sweater with pockets and it’s so warm and toasty! The jeans are so cute with fringe on the bottom! I like that you can show it off or cover it up with boots if you choose! I also paired snakeskin booties with this look

The last look is this fun dress! I love the pattern mix all in one dress! Because this dress already has leopard in it, I just paired a pair of brown booties with it. Throw on some gold earrings and you’re out the door!

Don’t be afraid to mix it up with some animal prints! You can go small and do a little accessory or shoes like I did until you feel brave enough to wear a big all over piece like a dress or coat! Have fun out there!
