Jumpin' July Style: Days 1-8

July is off to a great start! I'm already loving the looks that so many people have put together for this month's style challenge!

Day 1- Inspired by Mad Men- I didn't watch much of the show, but I love the clothing from this era! The dresses, the skirts, the tops, etc. but I love it all! I chose a peplum and a pencil skirt for this day and of course some pearls and a cute bag.

I chose to feature @sassymotherhood for this day because I loved everything about her look! She definitely looks like she stepped right out of the show!

Day 2- Mix It Up- I figured people could take this a couple of different ways. Mix your clothes like never before or maybe some pattern mixing? I think I did a little of both for my outfit on this day. I love these cute bee shorts from Land's End even though I am not much of a shorts person. I thought they were fun and I paired a striped shirt with them for even more mixing!

I chose @silvrgurl to feature for this day because I loved the way she mixed her patterns! I'm loving the floral with the stripes and that necklace is perfect with it!

Day 3- Star- Studded- This was the first of three patriotic themes days for this month's challenge. I also discovered I have nothing in my closet that has stars on it so I took a page from some other ladies' books and made myself the star in my red white and blue themed clothing for the day. It also chose to be chilly on July 3 for the fireworks we were going to so sweater and jeans it was!

I chose to feature @tallandchic for this day because I secretly think her bling is the star of the show, but I also happen to love the star shirt she is wearing!

Day 4- Patriotic Patsy- I loved how many people wore red white and blue for July 4th! I had a blue and white striped dress on with accessories to match and I even did my nails fancy too!

I found a couple of ladies whose looks I really liked and were very different from each other. I loved @queserasarah 's look with the overalls and the cutie @parksama wore a fun dress for the holiday.

Day 5- Baby, You're a Firework- Last day of patriotic themed outfits so I reached for the blue maxi that I got last year and paired it with accessories to make it more patriotic as well as fun with bright colors.

I loved the outfit layout of @aunt_ia for this day. The necklace and the tank are so cute together and the bright colors definitely remind me of fireworks!

Day 6- Monogram It! - I love a good monogram! I don't know why I don't have more things with monograms on them either. I did a Sunday Style post using my monogrammed clutch and wearing this dress three ways- check it out!

I loved @happygal1976 's outfit for this day featuring her monogrammed sweater. Such a great look!

Day 7- Fruit Frenzy- I love this banana tank so much from J Crew that I wore it two ways on this day! I think the versatility of it is great for multiple looks. I dressed it up for work and then dressed it down for the evening.

I chose to feature @stylejourney1 for this day because I loved her fruity top that she actually thrifted! The whole look is super fun and polished!

Day 8- Feeling Naughty-cal- Just a little play on words for this day but thought it wouldn't hurt to dress in a nautical fashion for a day. I don't have many nautical items but this scarf is one of my favorites. I did go the red white and blue route again but, hey, July only comes around once a year, right? Why not be a little patriotic-looking every once in a while?

I chose to feature @grllikeme for this day because the print was adorbs on her tee shirt and I love the yellow and tassel necklace too! Great outfit!

Days 1-8 are complete! Time is going by fast this month too! Thanks to everyone who has participated in Jumpin' July Style! It's been a lot of fun so far!
