Spring Fling with Chic Soul

Image
This post is sponsored by  Chic Soul   Today’s post is all about thinking Spring and getting ready for Easter! Is Easter still happening? I don’t know but I’m so ready for the warm temperatures and short sleeves and sandals! I thought I’d show you a few of my favorite looks from  Chic Soul  that are getting me ready and in the Spring spirit! I will link each dress under the pictures for you and don’t forget to use my code SANDAE15 for a discount!  This first look might be my favorite but I don’t know- it’s so hard to choose! I love the embroidery on this coral dress and the little delicate ruffles! I did size up because I wanted it to be longer but I think I should have just gone with my normal size since it looks bigger this way. Either way, it’s still cute! These sandals are also from  Chic Soul  and they’re the perfect little slides to wear around!  You can shop the dress  here You can shop the sandals  here This second dress is so pretty! I love the floral on this dress and all of

Going For The Green

Image
Tuesday was St. Patrick’s Day- even if it didn’t feel like it! Parades were canceled and even the river in Chicago wasn’t dyed green. It’s hard to fathom exactly everything that is going on right now but this too shall pass. There will come an end to this madness at some point. I will continue to post for you all as I can and continue to show you all the cute outfits and looks that you can wear post-quarantine. The color green is actually my favorite color in the crayon box. I love all shades of it and I think I look good in it and it matches my eyes! (As if you all just asked me why, here’s my answer...)  Green is actually a mix of blue and yellow. You probably learned that in kindergarten but it’s the mix of those colors in the spectrum colored like grass or emeralds.  Green is usually associated with nature, renewal, life, freshness, safety, fertility and the environment. It can also be associated with greed, jealousy, ambition, and finance. Just like any color in the rainbow, green

Sunday Style: Modern Romance

Happy Sunday! So much is going on in the world right now and I’ll be honest, I hesitated on whether or not to write blog posts or post outfit pics given the status of our current times. But I think the overwhelming need to be somewhat normal and write and post overrides the notion that I need to stop all of my activities. So I’ll continue to post as often as I can and continue to share so there is a sense of normalcy for both myself and all of you.  Today’s post is a look at Modern Romance and I’m wearing floral outfits. I’ve taken three outfits in which all items are from ellos, Jessica London, and Roamans which can all be shopped from the same cart online now! I’ll link everything below each outfit so you can easily shop if you’d like to recreate these looks on your own!  This first one is more of a casual look for all of you folks out there that don’t prefer dresses. I love love love this floral  top ! The floral is so perfect and there’s a neck tie and a peplum. What more could you
