Curvy Girl on the Run

Happy Sunday! If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I was able to attend the press preview of the new art exhibit, Monet: The Late Years at the  Kimbell Art Museum  this past Thursday. It was an amazing experience to see so many of this great artist’s painting up close! To see the detail in each stroke and think about how he worked up to his death painting each canvas was just breathtaking!  They had wonderful refreshments for us before our tour with the deputy director and curator of the exhibit, Mr. George T.M. Shackelford. The director of the museum, Mr. Eric M. Lee,  also said a few opening remarks prior to our tour.  This exhibit is the bookend of the earlier exhibit at the museum titled  Monet: The Early Years . This exhibit has art borrowed from all over the world so that there could be an amazing collection of fifty pieces of his later years work. Hello there! It’s been a few weeks since I did a WhatUp Wednesday post but I’m getting back in the groove of things and wanting to get you all caught up as well!  So first things first! I went to a super fun pop up exhibit in Fort Worth the other night called  Snap151 . Think Museum of Ice Cream or something along those lines but instead of rooms there are backdrops where you can take pics to your heart’s content! I went with a friend so we could take each other’s pics and I had so much fun!
