Sunday Style: Live Colorfully

Image
Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. One of the reasons is the colors that you start to see. Oh sure, it's raining outside right now as I write this, but I see that warmer temps and sunny days are heading our way this week.  The grass turns green, the birds are out and chirping, the flowers start to bud. I bought myself a bouquet of flowers this week- treat yourself! In the world of fashion, or maybe just in my world of fashion, more colors start to appear in the form of shoes and bags and accessories. Bright colors and flowers and other patterns make their way on to my clothing. It's spring!  Live colorfully! Rejoice in the new season and time of refreshing and rebirth. He makes all things new again. Take a minute to stop and smell the roses (or any other flower for that matter) and enjoy the awakening of the earth in this season.  For today's look, I chose a plain green dress but paired it with bright coral pumps. Sunday Style: Celebrate!

Image
Another day, another Shabby Apple dress. You know, no big deal. Just me and one of my best gal pals Lynsie waltzing around town in our fancy dresses and carrying balloons.  People stopped to stare, people stopped to wish us Happy Birthday. We didn't have the heart to tell them that we were just doing a photo shoot!  What am I celebrating? Another day that I get to live and enjoy this life is a reason for me to celebrate! Throw in some balloons and a fancy party dress and life gets even more fun and memorable.  Enjoy every little moment that we are given. Take pictures if you need to remember or just close your eyes and put them in your memory bank for later like I sometimes do. Whatever your method, cherish the memories and continue your own celebration of life. I had the best time this week and plan to continue to celebrate.  Now here's some pictures of this fantastic dress from Shabby Apple:  D...

Sunday Style: Similar Styles

Today's Sunday Style post is a different one. I didn't actually wear this to church today but I will tell you that I wore it around town in Charlotte earlier this week! My fabulous friend Lynsie from Similar Styles  came to visit me in the evening after work and we took advantage of the surroundings and did a photo shoot! The folks over at  Shabby Apple  sent me this beautiful tulle skirt and I couldn't be happier with it! It's such a fun piece of clothing and it was so much fun taking these pictures wearing it!  Be prepared for cuteness overload! This was so much fun!  Love love love this girl! We had so much fun and we're already planning our next adventure!  Hope you all have had a great Sunday!  Thanks for reading and following along with me!  Sandae
