Sunday Style: Belldini

Image
One of my favorite things about having a blog is being asked to try new brands or collaborating with new companies or vendors. I want to introduce you all to a brand that I just learned about, Belldini .  I was asked to review a few items from their collection and I can tell you that they are awesome! I reviewed the website and looked at the items with my lifestyle in mind. I now live in a warmer (hotter) climate and I work full time but the dress code is fairly casual. I have a child that I do things with but I also love going out after work to happy hour or out to movies and shopping, eating, etc. I decided to choose three pieces that I can wear multiple ways. The first item is this mint green sleeveless sweater that is studded with multicolor metallic studs. It has a handkerchief hem and is longer so it will go great with jeans or even a pencil skirt. I think the mint is such a fresh color for spring and I love the multicolor metallic studs because your accessories the...

Sunday Style: Fall Colors and a Designer Collaboration

Image
Once we are done grieving over the loss of summer and take a look around, we can see how beautiful the colors are around us. I know it's hard for some of us (particularly me) to get over the fact that winter is coming but I am always amazed at the changing of the seasons and the beautiful landscape that God has provided for us.  Fall in Michigan is particularly gorgeous since we get a lot of the cooler temps and rain and everything else that makes our trees change colors. The wind comes in now and then and blows the beautiful leaves off the trees and creates piles for us to jump and play in. Cider mills and pumpkin patches and corn mazes are full of people and they don't seem to mind that cold temps and snow will soon be here.  Today's Outstanding October Style challenge is Favorite Designer Collaboration. I love that mass retailers approach top notch designers and have them create lines just for people like me who want a designer piece but don't want to pay a d...

Sunday Style: Pinterest Inspired

Image
Some days you just need a little inspiration. I've talked about Pinterest a lot because you can find so many things on it. Today's Jumpin' July Style challenge was Pinterest inspired so I turned to the giant database in the sky for some outfit inspiration.  I was looking for something casual yet fun. I was looking for something that caught my eye and that I could recreate using my own clothes. Pinterest inspired doesn't always mean that you have to copy it exactly. I like to also recreate a look that is based on the pin but may not be exactly the same.  Take this outfit for example. Today I just looked under Fashion and found so many great ideas. I pinned a ton of things already for fall too. I found this pin though and thought, I like yellow with a white jacket and jeans so let's see what I can do with it.  Here's the pin today's look is based on: I took my white jacket and put it over a bright yellow tank and boyfriend jeans. I have the...

Marvelous May Style: Days 15-22

Image
This week's challenge was so much fun! I see more and more pictures for each day's challenge. I love seeing how creative everyone is too!  Day 15- Thrifted Thursday- I know there are a lot of us that love going thrifting and looking for items to build our wardrobes. Sometimes I get lucky and find something that's really good. I think this floral dress is just that! I remember finding this dress at the Goodwill earlier this year. I have worn it before with a chartreuse cardigan and belt so I thought I would change it up and wear a bright blue jacket this time.  I chose to feature @mythriftycloset365 for this day. I love the bright green color of her dress and I loved her attitude and smile in this picture. She just looks like she is loving life and having fun!  Day 16- Living Life to the Max(I)- I love maxi dresses! I read once that maxi dresses are like crotchless yoga pants. I can live with that! I think a great maxi can be dressed up or down and they...

Marvelous May Style Challenge: Days 1-7

Image
I cannot believe the first week of May is already over! I am having such a fun time with everyone who is participating in this month’s challenge. I look at the pictures every day and try to find one that I want to post along with mine.   Confession: I would post them all but it’s just not possible! I love all of the effort that so many people are putting into this challenge and it just makes every day more fun to get dressed than the last! I decided I will recap one week at a time.   I will be choosing one look that stood out to me and I will feature it with mine for each day. There are no rules to this challenge on Instagram; however, in order to be featured on the blog, you do have to be following me on Instagram and you do need to repost the challenge to your feed. I also cannot see your pictures that you post if you are private-so, if you would like all of us to see the awesome outfits you come up with, you will have to have a public profile. I just want to make sur...
