Curvy Girl on the Run

This past week was my birthday! I wanted to do something fun so a friend of mine and I made reservations at one of the hottest spots in town-  XOXO Social Dining Room  in Dallas.  The ambience is fun and cool and cute! There’s pink everywhere including the outside making it perfect for this pink tulle dress from Fashionnova Curve! It’s really the perfect dress for a birthday or any special occasion! I love all of the layers and it’s somewhat stretchy underneath making it great if you eat too much lol!  My friend Sarah happens to be my photographer as well and she did these pics before we ate and during our meal. She made sure to take pics so I could document everything!  Let’s be honest, other than the dress, the cupcakes Ferris wheel was definitely the star is the show! Happy Wednesday! Mid-week of a holiday week always throws people off! We started back to in-person school yesterday and it feels a little bit back to normal (as much as it can be right now). How to enjoy a little bit of Paris when you’re in Texas? Well fake it til you make it, right? A friend of mine and I decided to create our own little Parisian holiday over the weekend and we had so much fun!  We started out by visiting  Edith’s French Bistro  in Plano for High Tea. This was such a fun experience! Perfect if you like to be spoiled and waited on constantly! We had a dedicated waiter just for us the for the first hour and he was very kind and waited for us to take pics and talk and have fun while he was trying to do his job.  The tea we selected was so good- I loved mine and drank several cups. Then there was the tower of eats and omg everything was so delicious!  The room was beautiful and the ambience was just lovely. I will say I enjoyed it more when we were the only people in the room.
