Curvy Girl on the Run

I have a confession to make. I have never seen the show This Is Us. That’s right-don’t hate me but I just haven’t seen it. Last year when it first came on, I wasn’t watching a lot of television-I was working a lot and looking for a job and then I was moving and then working- you get it-Life happens. But from what I do know about it-people cry when they watch it. They come to work and say they cry or they comment on Facebook that they cry and even the actors themselves were on a talk show where they said they cry when they watch it. Crying for me is the last thing that I want to do-especially when being entertained by a television show. This is me. The other thing I know about the show is the premise. These folks lives are entwined somehow and I think some (or all?) even share a birthday. This is the story of people like us. People like you and me. Words cannot begin to explain how wonderful this experience was from start to finish of designing my own dress from Piol Dress  ! I am beyond thrilled with this beautiful dress and it was so much fun to customize everything from the fabric to the style. The experience began by inputting information like the color of my hair and eyes. Based on coloring, fabric swatches were then shown that would look best with my complexion as well as hair and eyes. I then chose the style of the dress and went on to customize everything inlcuding the style of the skirt, sleeves and neckline. Finally, measurements are key so the dress can be made to fit you.  I chose to go with a pencil skirt which falls right below the knee. I thought this would be perfect for wearing to church or work. I paired pearls and nude heels with this and a great bag for a very classic look.  Success! I waited for the dress which came in a timely manner and was beautifully packaged. This entire ex...
