May the fourth be with you! Okay- there's a little Star Wars humor for you! But seriously, I cannot believe that we are already into May! Today's Marvelous May Style challenge was a simple one of May Florals. I thought this jacket would be perfect for the challenge as well as for the weather we have been having. It's still only in the 50's today so a jacket was a good idea, as far as I am concerned. I also usually wear a dress to church on Sundays but today I just didn't feel like it. I love that we go to a church that accepts you as you are and doesn't demand a certain attire in order for you to attend.  I'm wearing this bright floral jacket over one of my favorite peplum tops and I just paired it with jeans today. I don't know about you all but sometimes I just want to be comfortable and wear a pair of jeans! I'm also wearing a pair of studded flats that I bought last year but I have never worn! I'm glad for closet remix challenges so ...

I thought I would put both months together this time since the outcome was pretty much the same... Well folks, this whole post could be summed up in two words: I failed. However, I choose not to see it as a failure but as an opportunity to do better next time. I'll explain. And yes, by the way, I will admit I have been putting off posting this too...which is why I made it into a two month recap really... I did well in March and, in fact, even returned items that I purchased before. But then, I took a trip to the mall mid-month and decided to really look at some new spring and summer items for myself.
