Curvy Girl on the Run

A few weeks ago I did a post about Pinterest and how it inspired me to create an outfit. I'm doing another Pinterest inspired outfit today but I also was inspired for the pieces to come together while on Instagram last week. I saw a picture of my IG friend @rayannlacasse who also has a blog Four Season Fabulous  and coincidentally, is from my area as well! I love the look of leopard and sparkle and a bright color! I love leopard especially with red or orange. I think the look can be both classic and fun! I was inspired by the colors in this pin below from : I decided to copy my friend and pair a leopard cardigan from Target with a dress from Old Navy that I originally wore last summer (come to think of it, it was September on my birthday.) I don’t normally do a blog post on Fridays, but sometimes, I just have to show you all things that make me happy.   Last week I posted about this leopard faux fur vest and how I can’t get enough of it! Did I mention my husband bought it for me for Christmas? It makes it that much more special. I am doing a challenge this month, which is more like a guide, for something to wear on each day during the month.   I will admit that I love these challenges because they truly help me to plan and think outside of the box when it comes to my outfits.   I love to mix and match things and take risks and these challenges help me to think about things differently. Well it's hard to believe that the third week of December has already come and gone but it has. This week continued to be cold and dreary and dumping snow and slush on us. A typical December in Michigan!  I started the week off with an outfit that I absolutely loved! I bought this Joe Fresh taffeta skirt a while back and decided to pair it with a chambray shirt. Day 15 was Winter Fur and I was super excited to wear this black faux fur vest over this outfit. I wore black tights and booties and finished it off with a belt that I have had for ages. The faux fur trend is one of my faves that is happening now and I lucked out and found this vest online at Kohls!  Day 16 was Merry Mixing Prints and I think if you follow me on Instagram or regularly read my blog, you know I love mixing patterns!
