Throwback Thursday: Halloween Edition

When we were growing up, we didn't celebrate Halloween. We had Harvest parties but we never dressed up and went trick or treating. It was also my mom's birthday so we usually had cake or something but nothing to do with such a "pagan" holiday.  Fast forward to us having our own child and wanting to celebrate! Every year we visit Greenfield Village as a family and do the Pumpkin Walk. Hundreds of pumpkins are carved and decorated and line the streets of the village. Costumes of classic characters are worn by the workers, treats are handed out and children ( and grown- ups alike) are scared by the scarecrows and Headless Horseman.  Every year we attend this with a couple of friends so I thought I would show you some of our most recent costumes from the last few years. Sunday Style: Pinterest-Inspired

Hi everyone! I have to say it is so good to be back writing on the blog! I missed writing and viewing everyone's pictures on Instagram as well. I had a great time in Charlotte working this week and catching up with people I don't get to see that often. Working remotely has its benefits but face time is priceless!
