2014 Closet Remix Challenge: May and June Recap

May and June came and went so quickly.   Looking back it is hard to write about these months because they flew by. I keep telling myself to live in the present so that I won’t look back and say this but every time I sit down and think about it, time just hasn’t stood still. May was a very busy month for me at work. I had so many tasks that were due and I was still learning a few things since switching roles earlier this year. That meant not a lot of time for shopping! I also had some bills like paying for camps for my son, etc. that helped me to not do a lot of shopping so I could financially keep on track. I was able to purchase a new bag with some gift cards and Poshmark money and I did a couple of returns and exchanges. I was able to spend a total of $60 for the month using gift cards and coupons. 2014 Closet Remix Challenge: March and April Recap

I thought I would put both months together this time since the outcome was pretty much the same... Well folks, this whole post could be summed up in two words: I failed. However, I choose not to see it as a failure but as an opportunity to do better next time. I'll explain. And yes, by the way, I will admit I have been putting off posting this too...which is why I made it into a two month recap really... I did well in March and, in fact, even returned items that I purchased before. But then, I took a trip to the mall mid-month and decided to really look at some new spring and summer items for myself. I sold a lot of my stuff last year on Poshmark for spring and summer so I decided to take advantage of the many sales that happen this time of the year.  I didn't stay on track for buying only items on my list.
