Style Spotlight: LuLaRoe

Image
I am so excited to share a couple of looks today from Lularoe! This is a company that I wasn't as familiar with but now I am glad I am! I was asked by my pal Amy from LuLaRoe Tooele County  if I would share a couple of looks and, of course, I said yes!  Spoiler Alert!! Keep reading because there's a giveaway that you won't want to miss! She's also offering free shipping on lularoe.com  using the code AMYJUHASZ!  First up is this black and white striped dress. I am in love with the way it looks and feels to say the least! This is the Amelia dress- it is fit and flare style and has pockets. Bonus! This basic dress is anything but basic! It can be dressed up or down and I love the design of it!  I paired the dress here with some pink heels and a leopard clutch. It's colder here now so I'll put a black jacket over top of it too for some extra warmth. I also did a statement necklace for some sparkle but I also am envisioning this with a scarf and some fla...

Currently Craving: Eva Mendes for New York and Company

Image
You know it's officially fall with cooler temps and the leaves changing but another thing that gives it away is a new collection from Eva Mendes at New York and Company. The store has been keeping the newest collection under wraps but it officially launched yesterday, September 17. Eva has been keeping busy lately carrying Ryan's unborn child and all, but she still found time to design her latest collection for the store. People wondered if she would design maternity clothes given her state but instead she chose to stick with her classic line of dresses, skirts and feminine blouses.  I thought I would show you all my picks from this Fall collection- it's a good one!  First up is this beautiful rich burgandy dress. Confession, this already has hit my online shopping cart. This is the same style (Maria) as the black dress I wore last week. It's the same brocade and all- just a different color. I have worn the black dress by itself, with a sweater over, and wit...

Eva Gets Me

Image
I will admit that I forgot I bought this dress earlier in the summer. I even counted it on my list and showed it to you all as a purchase from New York and Company but I just remembered today that I had never worn it. Shocker! I know-when you have a lot of clothes in your closet (I am not bragging) sometimes you forget what you have and/or don’t always take the time to wear something multiple times. I need to get better at wearing everything that I have! Anyways, I have written a couple of other blog posts about New York and Company and Eva Mendes and how much I love her line of clothing. I like to say that Eva gets me because it is like she designs these fit and flare dresses just for me and my body type. I like the way that she chooses fun patterns and prints and sticks with the same silhouettes of her clothing. This dress is no exception to this rule-she just gets me! I love the “tribal” type print of this dress but I also like the newer neckline with a squared lo...

Sunday Style: Polka Dots

Image
Today's Joyful June Style challenge is polka dots. Polka dots are something that I don't wear very often. I don't know why because they are really fun and can be cute. I just don't have a lot of polka dot items for some reason. I found this dress at New York and Company a while back. It's part of the Eva Mendes collection from the spring. I love her dresses in her collection and I have said it before that I would buy every one of them if I could! This particular style of dress is the same as my black dress that I have been able to wear a few different ways. I am already thinking that I will wear this as a skirt another time too and possibly as a jumper. This style is very flattering on all body types. It has more of a fit and flare look while being a little straighter on the bottom. I love the way it nips in the waist. It is sleeveless but looks great with a jacket or cardigan over it. Want to emphasize your waist even more? Wear a belt and bring attention ...

Sunday Style: Easter Best

Image
Happy Easter everyone! I hope that you all are enjoying your day with your family and friends!  I thought I would do a quick post for Sunday Style wearing this great pink dress from Banana Republic. There are four things that I love in a dress and this has all of them! A super flattering fit and flare style, an exposed zipper, the color pink and a great price!  I found this dress on sale with an extra percentage on top of that back in the middle of March. Sometimes being in the right place at the right time pays off when it comes to sales!  With this dress I am pairing the gorgeous floral clutch that I found at Francesca's and some nude bow heels from Nine West via Marshalls. I like the simple look with a little fun thrown in with the vibrant colors in the clutch. I am also keeping the dress and shoes neutral and wearing some colorful jewelry with it. I love the long line of a neutral leg and shoe which actually makes me appear taller and slimmer.  He...
