Curvy Girl on the Run

Hi friends! How has everyone been lately? If you’ve been following along with me, you know that I took a break over the past week or so to really focus on helping Black creators to be seen and heard more on Instagram- as that is my main platform with followers. I muted myself other than my stories (meaning no posting of regular content on my feed) and on my stories posted resources, content and more all relating to Black Lives Matter.  I feel like this needs to be said. Just because someone is back to posting their outfit pics doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re no longer helping the cause. Don’t let yourself get caught up in what others are doing. I fell into this trap this past week and let me tell you, it’s no fun. If you feel a certain way, let it be known. You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing in order for you to feel like you are enough. Happy Sunday, friends! It’s hard to believe that today is already March 1st! I saw a meme that said something about how January had 585 days and February flew by so fast! That’s exactly how it feels for me since I really hate the cold weather! Today was actually in the 50’s though and the sun was shining bright. I’m so ready for spring!  One of the landmarks in Grand Rapids is the Blue Bridge. The Blue Bridge used to be a railroad bridge and is now used as a pedestrian bridge. It was built in 1892 and stretches over the Grand River. It is iconic to the city and also is one of the longest truss bridges in Michigan.   Now there’s nothing like wearing blue when you are by the Blue Bridge! So here we are after Valentines Day and I’m still wearing all the pink and red like it’s my job! Lol and of course, if you’ve been following along with me for a while, you know I’m crazy about cats!  We found the  Happy Cat Cafe  in Grand Rapids and thought it was about time to pay it a visit. I love having cats roaming about freely for you to pet and play with! I will say that we went later in the day so a lot of them were either napping or hiding.  It’s a cute little place to make yourself a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and hang out with the cats for an hour. You can book online or walk in- although I’d suggest booking online to make sure you can get in! There’s only so many people allowed in the cat room at a time.  I’d love to go back and bring a book and just hang out and read and pet all the kitties! I love that these cats are up for adoption so if you do fall in love with one, you might just be able to take it home with you!  I wore this pink ...
