Sunday Style: Belldini

Image
One of my favorite things about having a blog is being asked to try new brands or collaborating with new companies or vendors. I want to introduce you all to a brand that I just learned about, Belldini .  I was asked to review a few items from their collection and I can tell you that they are awesome! I reviewed the website and looked at the items with my lifestyle in mind. I now live in a warmer (hotter) climate and I work full time but the dress code is fairly casual. I have a child that I do things with but I also love going out after work to happy hour or out to movies and shopping, eating, etc. I decided to choose three pieces that I can wear multiple ways. The first item is this mint green sleeveless sweater that is studded with multicolor metallic studs. It has a handkerchief hem and is longer so it will go great with jeans or even a pencil skirt. I think the mint is such a fresh color for spring and I love the multicolor metallic studs because your accessories the...

Sunday Style: Pure Jeanius

I decided to do a more casual post for today's Sunday Style featuring a fun look with denim. These Royalty For Me  jeans are everything! The cut and feel and fit of these jeans make me so happy! I chose the  WannaBettaButt  style and I am so happy with them! They are so soft and the skinny jean style is just perfect. I chose a dark wash because I love that they are polished and slimming and can be dressed up or down.  I decided to pair these jeans with a black ruffle sleeveless top I have had in my closet forever and some bright pink heels. What do you all think of this look for a fun night out?  Ruffle blouse- JC Penney (old) Jeans- Royalty For Me (online recent) Heels- Old Navy (old) Sequin Bag- Kate Spade (old) Earrings- Groopdealz (old) Hope you all are enjoying this wonderful long weekend!  Thanks for reading and following along with me!  Sandae

What I Wore: April 2015 Part One

Image
I decided it was becoming time consuming to post my pictures and write about outfits every week. Today is April 21 and I am just now recapping the first half of the month so I know I am behind!  I thought this way I could recap some or all of the outfits if I really wanted to but do it in my own time making it easier for me.  Here are some of the highlights for the first half of April: I spent almost a week in Grand Rapids so I had some fun background pics during the first half of the month!  Here's the breakdown:  I love this denim jacket and you'll see a lot of it this Spring! I paired it this day with my LuLaRoe Cassie pencil skirt and some fun striped wedges for added interest to this outfit.  This day, my son and I went to the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM). I wanted something casual yet classy and I felt great wearing this outfit around town.  I worked in the office for this day so I had some fun with color blocki...

December 2014 Week One Recap

Image
We are officially into December and counting down the days until Christmas. I've been trying to dress up a little more and wear some holiday-themed outfits just for fun. Sometimes I am feeling it and sometimes I am not. I always want to have fun with my outfits though so sometimes I take risks or wear things that others might not think they can pull off. I always say that fashion is what you wear but style is how you wear it. I like to stand out but in a good way.  Here's my recap for the week:  Monday- I have to admit that I love this outfit. I wore this last year too and it was one of my faves! It just seems so warm and cozy to me!  Faux Fur Vest- Banana Republic (last year) Plaid Shirt and Sweater- Old Navy (last year) Jeans- Eloquii (summer this year) Boots- DSW (old) Handbag- Jordana Paige (new- still available- click on link in blog) Bracelets- J Crew Factory (summer this year) Tuesday- I took a tweed skirt I got on major clearanc...

Ruffles on a Tuesday

Image
You know when you have an outfit and it brings back memories? You remember where you were when you last wore it or the first time you wore it. Or how it made you feel a certain way? You remember who you were with and what you were doing? Today’s outfit for me was like that. True story: I chose ruffles on a Tuesday in honor of my IG friend, Tracy @ruffletuesday.   Tracy is such an upbeat and motivated person and is always so nice to everyone on Instagram.   She was one of the first people that I really started following and liked her style.   I didn’t realize then that she really did wear ruffles on Tuesdays.   I digress… When I chose this challenge for this day, I had nothing in particular in mind to wear for it really.   I had a flowered tank that I got last year at Target (along with everyone else) and considered wearing that.   I have a dress with a ruffle on it but I thought it was too dressy for a Tuesday.   I looked through the summer...
