Over the last few years I've begun to cut back- on gifts for them and for me.  This year was a tough one. Lots of changes occurred this year and big things are still happening. It was so sunny and hot earlier this week when I took these pictures. It's hard to believe that this week will be September! Before you know it, fall will be here in all its glory. The leaves will begin to change and cooler temps will arrive. We will be trading in our cold beverages for hot ones and baseball for football. I'm not ready for it!  This dress has me thinking about fall- before long, I won't be wearing open toe shoes, I'll be wearing boots with it! Wearing a watch is not something a lot of people do in this day and age. Everyone has a phone and has their nose in it 24/7 and they can get the time from it as  as everything else . No one has a lot of time- everyone is busy running around and getting things done.  I personally love wearing watches. To me it is an extension of accessorizing an outfit. I'm so tired. How many times have you said that today? Today's post is more of a combination of a personal and an outfit post and of course I thought it only fitting that I took a picture inside of a tire to say that I am tired...cue rimshot... I have a lot going on right now in my life. While I don't want the world to know all about my personal business, I will say this, I'm tired. Some days I am just downright exhausted- not only physically, but mentally and even emotionally.  Why don't I sleep at night? Why do I fall asleep easily but then wake up in the middle of the night only to lie there and think and then toss and turn? I once read that when we wake up and can't go back to sleep, it's a good time to talk to God. We know He will be up and He will listen to us. I tried that last night and it worked.
